Your privacy matters.
Habit Coach helps you build consistent routines by tracking habits, streaks, reminders and progress in one focused iPhone experience.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Habit Coach handles information when you use the Habit Coach iOS application. Habit Coach is designed around local habit tracking and uses third-party services for analytics, advertising, consent management and app configuration.
2. Information you create in the app
Habit information
Habit names, schedules, targets, streaks, completion records and related settings are created by you and stored locally on your device.
Proof photos
If you choose photo verification, the app uses the camera or photo library to let you capture a proof image. The app is designed to keep that image on your device rather than upload it to Habit Coach servers.
Reminders
If you enable notifications, Habit Coach uses Apple’s notification system to schedule reminders on your device.
Health data
If you grant permission, Habit Coach can read daily steps, walking/running distance and active energy from Apple Health to show activity information. The app requests read access only and does not request permission to write those health values.
3. Analytics
Habit Coach uses Firebase Analytics. Analytics may receive app usage information and events such as app opens, habit actions, notification choices, coaching interactions and subscription-related events. The current app code also sends limited event parameters such as habit names, streak counts, whether a reminder or photo was used, product identifiers and subscription status.
Analytics is used to understand app usage, diagnose problems, improve features and understand how users interact with the product. Firebase may also collect information automatically according to Google's service operation and privacy practices.
For Google's current privacy information, please review Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Advertising and consent
Habit Coach contains advertising powered by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). The app can display banner ads, interstitial ads and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may, for example, allow you to earn a streak freeze after watching an ad.
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform for applicable consent requirements and Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework where required. Depending on your choices, advertising technology may process device, advertising and usage information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and related purposes.
Where applicable, you can control tracking permission through Apple's system settings and manage advertising consent through the consent flow presented by the app.
For Google's current advertising privacy information, see Google's advertising information.
5. Purchases
The project includes StoreKit support for optional Pro subscriptions and other in-app products. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Habit Coach does not receive or store your full payment card details.
6. Camera and photo library
Camera access is used only when you choose to use photo verification. Photo library access may be used when the camera is unavailable or when the system provides the relevant photo-selection flow. You can deny or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings.
7. Notifications
Notifications are optional. If enabled, they are used for habit reminders and related app notifications. You can change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local habit information remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or otherwise clear the relevant app data. Information processed by third-party services such as analytics and advertising is retained according to those providers' policies and configurations.
If you need help with a privacy request concerning information associated with the app, contact bansisavaj121@gmail.com.
9. Children's privacy
Habit Coach is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children for the purpose of creating accounts or profiles. If you believe a child has provided personal information to a service used by the app, please contact us so we can review the situation.
10. Third-party services
The app may use Apple services, Firebase services and Google Mobile Ads. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the current policies of those providers because their practices may change.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its services or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
