Simple terms for using Habit Coach.
Habit Coach helps you build consistent routines by tracking habits, streaks, reminders and progress in one focused iPhone experience.
1. About Habit Coach
Habit Coach is a personal habit-tracking and coaching application. It provides tools for creating habits, recording completions, viewing progress, using reminders, reviewing activity information where permitted, and receiving personalised coaching-style insights.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing or using Habit Coach, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.
3. Using the app
- You are responsible for the information and habits you choose to enter.
- You are responsible for reviewing reminders and settings to ensure they suit your routine.
- You must use the app in compliance with applicable laws and Apple's rules for App Store software.
- You must not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse or interfere with the app or its supporting services.
4. Health and wellness information
Habit Coach may optionally read steps, walking/running distance and active energy from Apple Health when you grant permission. These values are intended to help you understand activity in the context of your habits. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
If you have a medical concern or make health-related decisions based on information displayed by the app, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
6. Advertising
Habit Coach is supported by advertising. Ads may include banners, interstitial advertisements and rewarded advertisements. Ad availability and formats may change. Third-party advertising providers may process information according to their own policies and your consent or privacy choices.
7. In-app purchases
The app may offer subscriptions or other in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. Prices, billing periods, availability and product terms are shown through Apple's purchase interface. Unless otherwise stated by Apple, subscriptions may automatically renew until cancelled through your Apple account settings.
Refunds and payment disputes are handled under Apple's applicable App Store policies.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, remove or change features, advertisements, integrations or other parts of Habit Coach. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or uninterrupted.
9. Intellectual property
Habit Coach and its original software, branding, interface elements and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
10. Third-party services
The app relies on third-party platforms and services, including Apple, Firebase and Google Mobile Ads. Their services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for changes, interruptions or policies controlled by those providers.
11. Disclaimer
Habit Coach is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We make no guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every individual purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Habit Coach and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
13. Termination
You may stop using Habit Coach at any time by removing the app from your device. We may discontinue the app or particular features where reasonably necessary.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an updated version is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
